BARRINGTON, Ill. (April 21, 2014)
– The season of summer art festivals is officially underway: Experience all of
the fun festivals bring this Memorial Day at the Barrington Art Festival, the
perfect two-day holiday event to enjoy with family and friends. Make memories
while perusing the work of more than 125 juried artists from across the
country. Photography, ceramics, metal work, and jewelry are just a few of the
mediums that will be highlighted at the festival. Produced by Amdur Productions
in partnership with the Village of Barrington and the Barrington Cultural
Commission, the Barrington Art Festival invites you to do what makes you happy
– and start with art!

FOR KIDS & ADULTS: Enjoy live music, local food fare and
interactive, art-inspired activities for individuals of all ages. Kids can
express themselves using red, white, and blue chalk at the patriARTic graffiti
wall to commemorate

Instagram contest and photo booth encourage attendees to “socialize” during the
event, further capturing the family-friendly fun.
NEW THIS YEAR: In addition to the art-centric activities, this
year’s festival will be outfitted with beer and wine gardens hosted by
Francesca’s Restaurant and McGonigal’s Pub.
