Barrington Bank & Trust Hosts Annual Community Shredding & Electronics Recycling Events

Barrington Bank & Trust will be hosting its Annual Community Shredding and Electronics Recycling Events on Saturday, September 20th at three locations. Stop by any bank location any time before the event for a free shredding coupon good for up to 3 boxes of shredding documents. All of the paper that is collected at the events is 100% destroyed and then recycled. We hope to see you there!

Examples of sensitive documents to shred: Tax information and returns, investment records and statements, bank statements and canceled checks, paycheck stubs, ATM and credit card receipts, credit card statements, insurance, personal documents, pictures, utility bills, and other household financial information.

Examples of electronics to recycle: Keyboards, mouse devices, printers, fax machines, DVD and VCR players, cell phones, telephones, wireless devices, video games, consoles, cable boxes and modems, hard drives, disk/media drives, electronic medical equipment, PCs, laptops, servers and monitors.
