The Barrington Area Council of Governments (BACOG) hosts a water quality testing program to test private wells in the area for bacteria and nitrates. Residents can pick up their test kits March 7 - 10 for a fee of $10, then drop off the kit on the date listed on the bottle for testing. Visit the BACOG website for more information.
