This year we will be holding a fundraiser to raise money to help Molly on August 20th at Moretti’s/Cadillac Ranch in Bartlett from noon – 4:00 p.m. Admission to our family friendly event are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for Children, which includes pizza and soft drinks, kids’ area, raffle items and two live Bands; Scraps of Brass and Shades of Grey.
Our event this year is for a little 2 year old girl from the St. Charles area named Molly. Molly is a beautiful little girl who was full of life. She is a sweet child who loves animals, music and to play. At the young age of 23 months Molly was brutally beaten by her mother’s boyfriend. Molly suffered a severe brain injury, broken bones and fractures. She was not expected to live but by some miracle she did. She faces a tough road ahead as the left side of her brain is dying. She is learning to eat, walk and talk again. Due to the damage to the brain, it is unknown what life holds for Molly but there is hope as she has made progress that no one thought possible. With all of the things Molly has been through; the beating, pain, surgeries…she has still found reasons to smile and show that she has an amazing spirit and will to live.
