Until attending a retreat at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 1995, I felt like James Joyce's character, Mr. Duffy, living "a short distance from [my] own body." After just one yoga class, I was amazed at how quickly I was able to drop into my body and let go of my mind. Through yoga, I learned to honor my body's wisdom. And now I want to invite you to join me in yoga-centered coaching, to joyfully open your body, heart, and mind, while cultivating a deep connection with your breath.
I have completed the 200-hour registered yoga teacher training from Feel Your Best Yoga®, (FYB) which teaches an eclectic, multi-style yoga discipline, and I fully ascribe to the school's philosophy: "The Person, Not The Pose"®. The concept of FYB is that Yoga is accessible to all, regardless of age, gender, level of experience, injury, medical condition, etc. Each yoga practice is customized specifically to the needs of the individual on the mat.
A typical session might look like this:
