With more than 20 years experience as a volunteer diver/presenter at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and his training with former President Al Gore on The Climate Project, Kent Taylor has a unique experience and concern for our oceans and coral reefs. He has developed a presentation concentrating on the effects global warming is having on this valuable but little understood ecosystem. On September 21st, he will be presenting "Our Reefs at Risk".
In layman's language, Mr. Taylor will explain the complex relationship between the changing chemistry of our oceans and the wildlife that exist there, focusing on the emerging threats created by our CO2 emissions and the resultant carbon saturation of our reefs and oceans. His presentation will run approximately 45 minutes, after which he will take questions from the audience.
