Barb Sutton, ANP-C, Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois
Many have the misconception that palliative care is the same as hospice care. The program will address the key differences between the two types of care and debunk the myths surrounding them both. Ms. Sutton will discuss techniques for managing pain and alleviating the symptoms through all stages of illness, including practical advice for self-management of symptoms. Discussion is encouraged.
