Stillman Nature Center and The Northwest Suburban Astronomers hold a Solar Observing on Sunday program. Attendants will be able to view the nearest star, including its sunspots and prominences, with the help of special telescopes and filters. Then attendants can join in on a self-led or guided hike and a potluck picnic if they wish. RSVP required, attendants should bring a dish to share if they wish to stay for the picnic.
