Spring Creek Bird Blitz

The Spring Creek Forest Preserve holds a 2011 Bird Blitz to help identify nesting birds and threats to habitats. Volunteers are welcome to attend a kick-off meeting on Wednesday, May 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., then attend regular survey days on Sunday June 5 and Saturday June 11 from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers may also choose a different time between June 4 and June 26 to survey their assigned unit.
