The Church Women United of the Barrington Area group hosts World Community Day at St. Paul United Church of Christ. The year's celebration theme, "Building the Beloved Community," focuses on economic justice and peace. The guest speaker is Ruth Fairchild, who works with Luther Social Services of Illinois' Prisoner and Family Ministry of Rockford. A luncheon is to follow the service, guests are encouraged to bring a sandwich and fruit to share.
