Fareed Haque
and Paul Moeller, virtuoso guitarists, have joined forces to tackle some of the
most difficult and beautiful music in the guitar repertoire. In addition to
refined and virtuoso technique, they both bring improvisation, rhythm and joi
de vivre to their interpretations and arrangements. The music features the
incredibly difficult Tango Suite by Astor Piazolla, works by Giuliani, Baroque
masters as well as some new arrangements and compositions never before heard
with two guitars!

Fareed Haque
is a modern guitar virtuoso. Steeped in classical and jazz traditions, his
unique command of the guitar and different musical styles inspire his musical
ventures with tradition and fearless innovation. Haque was brought to the
attention of Sting, who had just begun his record label Pangaea. Sting invited
Haque to join the label and he released 2 critically acclaimed recordings
“Voices Rising” and “Manresa”. Haque toured briefly with Sting, including
notable appearances at The Montreux Jazz Festival as well as NBC’s Michelob
Presents Sunday Night with David Sanborn, but his own career demands led Haque
in other directions.

At a young
age, Paul studied classical piano at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of
Music. His interest
soon spread to the acoustic guitar with a heavy focus on
folk and blues. That foundation, combined with a
deep appreciation of popular
standards and jazz, has inspired and influenced him to create dozens of richly
melodic compositions that grow stronger and more memorable with each repeated
listening. His music has been described at 'elegant', 'hypnotic',

'magnificent', and 'utterly original'.
