Homeschool Groups in the area

There are some fantastic Homeschooling groups in the area- here are just a few:

Illinois HOUSE is a great resource to homeschoolers- within it are 2 groups I personally am a member of, Schaumburg HOUSE and Arlington HOUSE. YOu can click on the links off this website to find out more- http://www.illinoishouse.org/

Both groups meet at least weekly and create an great environment to foster any homeschoolers style and provide support to all. Both are non-sectarian groups so that anyone is welcome.

The Palatine Public Library and the Arlington Heights Memorial Library both have homeschool meet-ups during the year. Call the libraries for more information. There is also a great program at AHML that offers the teen lounge to homeschoolers once a month (ages 12 and up).

Homeschooling is very active in IL and we love the groups we have found. There are many more out there. Co-ops and individuals that meet up at libraries and more. Get involved today!
