Inmate Commits Suicide in Cook County Jail

Robert Jastrebski was in jail on an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge, according to the Daily Herald.

A 55-year-old Mount Prospect man killed himself early Saturday at the Cook County jail, according to the Daily Herald. 

Robert Jastrebski, who was in jail on an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge, hung himself with a bed sheet and was pronounced dead at 3:51 a.m., according to the Daily Herald.
