Man, Woman Accused of Stealing from Apple Store in Deer Park
The duo could be involved in other similar thefts at Apple stores in suburbs and across the U.S., police said Monday.

A man and woman accused of stealing from an Apple store in Deer Park have been connected to similar crimes at Apple stores in the suburbs and throughout the country, police said Monday.
Gregory J. Gracy, 50, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeri E. Duncan, 36, of Las Vegas, have been charged in Lake County following their arrest Saturday afternoon. Police were called to the Apple store, at 30530 North Rand Road in Deer Park, for a report of two suspicious people.
They found Duncan and Gracy in their vehicle and also found two Apple drone vehicles, according to a press release.

The duo matched the descriptions of suspects in thefts at Apple stores in Schaumburg and Oak Brook, police said. Police also found heroin on Duncan.
Authorities have since determined Ganci and Duncan have been involved in other Apple store thefts throughout the United States.

In connection with the Deer Park thefts, Duncan has been charged with two counts of theft-possession of stolen property (class 3 felonies), possession of a controlled substance (class 4 felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor). Duncan is currently being held at the Lake County Jail on a $10,000 bail. Her next court date is August 24, 2016 at 9:00AM in courtroom C-120.
Ganci has been charged with two counts of theft-possession of stolen property (class 3 felonies) and possession of drug paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor). Ganci is currently being held in the Lake County Jail on $75,000 bail. His next court date is Aug. 19.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested six in July after busting an elaborate criminal enterprise during increased patrols and surveillance at the Deer Park Apple store. During that investigation police recovered over $10,000 in stolen Apple products.
