Patricia Anthony's Offers Longer Lashes in Barrington

Barrington residents Patricia and Anthony Alvizu were welcomed to the business community with a Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, recently. 

opened in January at 236 Northwest Hwy, Studio 210, in Barrington.

"We're a one-stop shop where you can get one or all of the beauty services. Our tag is 'Where beauty comes together,' " Patricia Alvizu said. 

Alvizu was trained in lash extensions two and one-half years ago; she previously worked in electrolysis.

"I saw lash extensions and thought they were interesting and pretty and I wanted them," Alvizu said. She searched for the best lash extension company and found Xtreme Lashes and become a certified lash stylist.

Alvizu said clients can customize their Xtreme lashes. "They are more personalized in style and there is a plethora of different lashes," she said. The application process takes two and one-half to three hours and each lash is indvidually applied.

Patricia Anthony Studio also offers its own lash extension, that takes just 30 minutes. The studio is currently offering a half-price deal for the 30 minute lash extension. Regularly $120, clients can get the treatment for $60. The service includes an anti-aging treatment around the eyes. 

The studio also offers lash tinting and perming.

Another service the studio offers is dry needling, a technique which regenerates collagen, Alvizu said. 

"People are seeing huge benefits. The majority of woman I'm seeing want wrinkles in their face taken care. The needle causes the body to react and regenerate collagen," she said.

The studio offers lash parties, where a group of women can get the 30-minute lash treatment while socializing. 

Another popular service is professional make-up. The studio offers a discount when two or more people book the service at the same time.
