Citizens for Conservation holds a workday weekly on Thursdays at their property, 459 W. Il Route 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Participants will work to restore local wetlands, woodlands and prairies in an effort to preserve habitats for wildlife, and help collect seed from native plants. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes and bring work gloves. Children ages 10 and up, teenagers and adults are welcome to join in, no experience is required.
