VIDEO: Lines School Performs 'Dynamite' Song and Dance

Lines Elementary School performed "Lines Reading is Dynamite!" during a literacy celebration June 6.

Lines Elementary School  celebrated a year of literacy accomplishments on June 6 with a school-wide performance of “Lines Reading is Dynamite!” The song and dance was to the tune of Taio Cruz' song "Dynamite."

All 550 students and staff members of the school participated in the flash mob-like performance on the school’s playground.

The celebration was all about the great success of the Lines Literacy Challenge that took place throughout the year. The challenge started when a generous Lines family said they would donate $15,000 to the book room if the school and community would meet the challenge.
