Batavia Moose Lodge To Host 1st Bluegrass Country Fest, Fundraiser
Four artists are set to perform at the organization's upcoming outdoor event.
BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia Moose Lodge will host Bluegrass and Country "Moosic" Fest and Fundraiser for the first time, and the lineup is stacked with local musicians.
Coming up June 11, net proceeds raised at the outdoor event will help the Lodge support students at Mooseheart Child City and School. Admission to the event, taking place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Lodge, at 1535 S. Batavia Ave., is donation-based.
As an outdoor event, concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and cash, since many food and drink items will be available only for cash purchases, according to an online listing for the festival. Aurora-based Gillerson's Grubbery will be on site with food and craft and domestic beer selections.
