CHICAGO — A Mount Greenwood mom was struck by a car and airlifted to a trauma center while vacationing with her family in Tennessee on Saturday.
Friends have started a GoFundMe campaign for Molly (Franklin) Fitzgerald. Her arm and both legs were severely broken. Fitzgerald will require multiple surgeries once she is out of the ICU.
“Molly has a long road ahead but is in good hands at a hospital in Tennessee with her family,” said the organizer, Rosie Moran. “Molly is a wife, an amazing mom of three, and a friend to everyone. If you know Molly, you love her. Her laugh, her kindness, and her beautiful spirit are one of a kind.
