Best Place For Coffee In Beverly/Morgan Park: POLL

CHICAGO, IL - It's the one thing most motivated people can agree on. Coffee is good for productivity.

The Beverly/Morgan Park area is rich with motivated Chicagoans, and also rich with local places for great coffee. Let's pick the best one in the Twitter poll embedded below. The poll tweet will be pined to the top of the Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch Twitter page for 24 hours beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The poll will expire on the morning of Feb. 14.

We've picked three of the most popular local places and have offered a fourth option for "other" favorites in the neighborhoods. The options we've listed are B-Sides Coffee & Tea, a relatively new shop at the 99th Street Metra station; Beverly Bakery, a longtime staple on Western Avenue near 105th Street and Ellie's Cafe, a popular spot in the heart of the residential neighborhood at 107th and Hale.

We would have loved to have listed the Bridgeport Coffeehouse (or the Hardbroiled Coffee Company that preceded it) at 91st and Western, but it was closed permanently a few months ago.

We didn't list the national chains and do not recommend offering them as "other" possibilities. There's too much good local stuff to give them a nod here.
