Buona Beef To Donate Partial Sales To Breast Cancer Research

The Beverly location of the chain Italian beef restaurant will donate 20 percent of sales Thursday to the Ginger Rugai Softball Tournament.

CHICAGO, IL – The 26th annual Y-Me Softball Tournament and Survivors’ Game may have been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but local residents are still able to make a difference in the ongoing fight against breast cancer.

On Thursday, 20 percent of all sales at the Buona Beef location in Beverly (10633 S. Western Ave.) between 10:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. will be donated to the tournament. Customers will need to mention the fundraiser and display the flyer shown below either in paper form or on their phones to have a portion of their bill go toward the Y-Me Tournament.

Earlier this year, tournament organizers announced that although the annual tournament would not take place, local softball teams were encouraged to participate in the Ginger Rugai Summer Games, which teams can organize locally.
