Charity Sewing At The Quilter's Trunk: Bev Biz Beat

This week let's take a look at The Quilter's Trunk, which has plans to host a National Breast Cancer Awareness charity sewing event at their store at 10352 S. Western Ave. in Beverly later this month.
From 12:30-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 participants will make mastectomy pillows and drain pump aprons for surgical patients at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, according to Lisa Wilberding of The Quilter's Trunk.

The Quilter’s Trunk will provide the material, patterns and sewing machines.
Anyone interested in participating should call the business at 773-980-1100 ahead of time so they can ensure there will be enough sewing kits for everyone.
