Free Lunch For Police Officers At Nicky's: Bev Biz Beat

CHICAGO — More than 100 police officers were treated to free lunch at Nicky's Grill and Yogurt Oasis, a Beverly neighborhood favorite at 10255 S. Western Ave., on Tuesday afternoon.

On their Facebook page, the team at Nicky's noted their salads were "by far" the most popular item the police officers requested.

This good deed at Nicky's is the latest example of many in which local businesses in Beverly go above and beyond to help make the community better. We've started a weekly column at Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch, the "Bev Biz Beat," to highlight these efforts.
