Homes Entered, Car Stolen In String Of East Beverly Burglaries
Police say homes in the area of 103rd to 107th and Wood have been targeted.
CHICAGO — Residents of East Beverly are on alert after a string of burglaries reported in the neighborhood in recent days. Police in Chicago's 22nd District say three homes have been targeted in the area of 103rd to 107th and Wood and in one incident a car was stolen from a victim whose home was entered.
The thieves removed screens and entered the homes through an open window, police said. One of the victims heard movement in the house around 4 a.m. and saw three men run outside after taking the car keys and flee in the victim's car.
All incidents have been reported between midnight and 6 a.m. Homes targeted are in the 1600 block of West 106th Street on Sept. 1, the 1700 block of West Walter Burley Griffin Place on Sept. 2 and the 10600 block of South Prospect Avenue on Sept. 2.

The three men were wearing hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans while running out of the home they were spotted in. They are believed to be between 18 and 25 years old.
