As 2018 comes to a close, we remember some of the lives we lost in Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood.

CHICAGO - A boxing legend, the owner of the beloved Red's, a longtime BAPA leader, a young Chicago firefighter and neighborhood bartender were just some of the many great people the neighborhoods of Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood lost in 2018.

Father Purtell, Retired St. John Fisher Pastor, Dies
