Residents Displaced By Apartment Fire On 95th Street
A fire broke out at an apartment building east of Ashland Thursday night, displacing residents of multiple units.

CHICAGO, IL - Several residents of an apartment building on 95th Street in the city's East Beverly/Washington Heights neighborhood were displaced Thursday night as a fire broke out on the top floor of the structure. Fire crews were on the scene in the 1500 block of 95th near Ashland before 9 p.m.
According to the Chicago Fire Department Media Twitter feed, anywhere from 6-10 people have been displaced as a result of the fire. Two people at the scene when the fire broke out refused medical treatment.
Photos shared from the fire department show the two easternmost apartment units of the building covered in black after the fire was struck.

Officials did not list a cause of the fire as of 10:30 p.m.
