Man Shot, Killed In Dolton

DOLTON, IL - A man was shot and killed in Dolton Monday night. The victim, whose age and identity was not available when the incident was reported early Tuesday morning, was shot around 10:30 p.m. in the 15200 block of South Greenwood Avenue, according to a report from ABC-7 Chicago.

The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Reports indicate he sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the head and the other to the shoulder. The South Suburban Major Crimes Taskforce is assisting Dolton police with the investigation.
