Scenes From The 2018 Beverly Art Walk

A look back at the 5th annual Beverly Art Walk through the #BeverlyArtWalk tag on Twitter.

CHICAGO, IL - Another edition of the Beverly Art Walk is in the books, and the 2018 version may have just been the best one yet. More than 200 artists had their artwork featured at 61 venues along 95th Street, 99th Street, 103rd Street, 111th Street, Western Avenue and on residential streets in the neighborhood.

For Kevin Bronson, it was a good chance "to promote myself and help get a small business going, too." Bronson's mixed media art was hung upon the walls at the newly opened Ohana Ice & Treats shaved ice stop at 103rd and Wood.

The Art Walk was "a good learning experience," he said, noting that it's the first time he's participated. (For more Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood news and features, sign up for the free daily Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch newsletter).

"It was a beautiful day for it. Everyone who came in was really nice and the hosts at Ohana allowed me to display eight pieces of artwork," Bronson said. Follow Kevin on Instagram: artkmb

Let's take a look back at the day, as it was told through searching "Beverly Art Walk" on Twitter.

The new SXU Upfall Gallery on 95th Street was a hot addition to the fun this year.

The Vineyard location was also a popular spot.

The Open Outcry Brewing Company, as always, was a fun place to be.

But this sand sculpture outside Clissold Elementary School made the day.
