South Side Irish Parade Miniature Street Pole Banners Available This Holiday Season

Banners can be purchased now through December 16.

Looking for a unique gift idea for your favorite Irishman or Irish clan? Celebrate Irish heritage with a customizable miniature version of the South Side Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade street pole banners available for purchase now through December 16.

“We had a great response to last year’s mini-banner holiday sale so we’re offering it again this year. So many people from the neighborhood—and those who have moved away but have fond memories of the parade—said they liked the chance to give a gift of the South Side Irish Parade for Christmas,” said Kevin Coakley, co-chair of the South Side Irish Parade Committee.

“The parade’s street pole banners along Western Avenue are always a welcome sign that spring is on the way. Maybe the sight of a mini-banner in someone’s home or office will help them get through another cold Chicago winter,” added Tom McGourty, co-chair of the parade committee.
