Fake-Bearded Man With Golf Hat Robs Bank In Mt. Greenwood
The FBI responded to a bank robbery at the U.S. Bank at 112th Street and Kedzie Avenue Monday afternoon.

CHICAGO, IL — The U.S. Bank near the corner of 112th Street and Kedzie Avenue in Mount Greenwood was robbed early Monday afternoon. FBI agents responded to the branch at 11159 S. Kedzie after the reported robbery at 1:11 p.m., according to FBI Chicago Media Coordinator Garrett Croon.
Croon said in an email to media that the robber showed a handgun. The fugitive is described as a white man with a fake beard who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. An image shared on Bandit Tracker later Monday afternoon shows him wearing a Calloway golf hat and black hooded sweatshirt during the robbery.
The U.S. Bank robbery was the third bank robbery reported in the city of Chicago on Monday. An Albany Bank location at 4400 N. Western Ave. and a TCF Bank at 4660 W. Irving Park Road were both robbed earlier in the day.
