  • The Beverly Breast Cancer Walk, held annually on the morning of Mother's Day on the streets of Beverly and Morgan Park, brings thousands of people to the neighborhood to honor breast cancer survivors and remember those who have died. It raises money for the breast center at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park.
  • The Papa Hops 16'' Softball Tournament, held at three neighborhood parks on a Friday night in mid-July is in honor of Tom "Papa Hops" Hopkins, a beloved St. Cajetan parish icon who died of cancer in 2014. Several hundred people who vow to #NeverEndTheFight pack Kennedy Park for the championship game. It raises money for the Tom Hopkins Foundation.
