Witnesses Not Cooperating With Police In Stabbing Investigation: Cops
Police say no signs of struggle at scene where woman was found with small puncture wound in shoulder in Morgan Park early Tuesday morning.

CHICAGO, IL -- A 49-year-old woman died after suffering a stab wound early Tuesday morning in Morgan Park, according to Chicago Police.
Officers responded with EMS around 6:11 a.m. for a report of a person stabbed in the 1300 block of West 108th Place. When police arrived, they found the woman on the floor with a small puncture wound in her shoulder.
The woman was also found to be highly intoxicated. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was pronounced dead.

Officer Kevin Quaid, of Police News Affairs, said there was no sign of struggle at what appears to be a residence. Witnesses at the scene are being “uncooperative.”
