• Bolingbrook Man Part Of Fentanyl Dealing Ring: Attorney General (patch.com) — Bolingbrook residents are learning that a 34-year-old man from the village is among three people charged in a multi-county fentanyl dealing operation, according to the Illinois Attorney General. Authorities say the group allegedly delivered or tried to deliver hundreds of grams of fentanyl in Cook and DuPage counties, with the Bolingbrook man facing multiple felony counts and a November 19 court date.
   

• Citizens Against Abuse Announces 28th Annual Rally, Light Ceremony (patch.com) — Bolingbrook residents can attend Citizens Against Abuse's free rally and light ceremony at the Levy Center on Oct. 8, focusing on domestic violence and human trafficking awareness. The evening will feature speakers, resource tables, food from local providers, and fundraising activities to support prevention programs and victim services.
