Armed Robbers Nabbed In Bolingbrook: Police
One of the four alleged thieves was linked to the Bolingbrook 7-Eleven robbery, according to cops.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Four suspects wanted in connection with a gas station armed robbery in Mokena were found — along with the proceeds of the robbery — outside the Bolingbrook Denny's restaurant on Monday, police said. One suspect is also believed to be linked to Saturday's violent holdup at at a Bolingbrook 7-Eleven, according to police.
Bolingbrook Police Lt. Anthony Columbus said local police were notified of an armed robbery in Mokena and spotted a vehicle matching the one used in the stickup at around 6:33 a.m. Monday in the Denny's parking lot, 126 E. South Frontage Road.
Columbus said the vehicle, a red Jeep Liberty, was stopped and all four occupants were taken into custody without incident. A handgun and proceeds linking the four suspects to the Mokena robbery were also found, according to police. Mokena police were notified and assisted by Bolingbrook investigations officers, and all four suspects were positively identified, Columbus said.

Alexander Love, 22, of 128 N. Villa Ave. in Villa Park; Cameron J. Love, 19, of 12225 Vincennes Road in Blue Island; and Martize T. Murphy, 20, of 1154 E. 91st St., Chicago, were arrested on felony armed robbery charges.
A 17-year-old juvenile was also charged with armed robbery. Bolingbrook police believe the Chicago teen is linked to a May 20 armed robbery at 7-Eleven, 398 S. Schmidt Road, in which five armed suspects burst into the convenience store and stole cash and cigarettes. One of the suspects also punched the clerk, who was able to flee the store and call police while the suspects fled in a black four-door sedan, police said. The 7-Eleven robbery remains under investigation.

Mokena police credited the arrests to a "very attentive" Bolingbrook police officer, who spotted the four suspects in the Jeep. The four are accused of sticking up a Mobil gas station just after 5 a.m., stealing cash and an unknown amount of Lottery scratch-off tickets, police told Mokena Patch.
