• 2 Hurt In Plane Crash At Bolingbrook Park: Authorities (patch.com) — Residents in Bolingbrook are being asked to steer clear of Indian Chase Meadows Park after a small plane crashed there Tuesday evening, injuring both people on board. The Bolingbrook Fire Department reports the occupants are in stable condition at Good Samaritan Hospital, while federal investigators from the FAA and NTSB work to determine what caused the crash.
   

• Joliet West, Minooka volleyball remain unbeaten in SPC play: The Herald-News Tuesday Roundup (shawlocal.com) — Bolingbrook High School athletes had a strong night, with the girls volleyball team sweeping Romeoville behind 12 kills from Angelia Robinson and nine from Alaine Flynn, and the boys soccer team edging Oswego 2-1. The roundup also highlights other Southwest Prairie and area teams, giving Bolingbrook fans context for conference races.
