• Age-Restricted Community Approved In Bolingbrook (patch.com) — Bolingbrook residents 55 and older could soon see a new 24-unit age-restricted neighborhood at Reagan Boulevard and Naperville Road, following Village Board approval this week. Officials backed special use permits and design variances for cottage-style homes with rear-facing garages and service roads meant to encourage neighbor interaction on the 13-acre site.
   

• In honor of 'Dolly Day,' Pace unveils little library at suburban stations (chicagotribune.com) — Pace riders in Bolingbrook can soon grab free books at the local transit station, where a Dolly Parton–inspired little library will be installed once a shipping delay is resolved. The agency is rolling out similar boxes across suburban hubs to encourage riders and their families to read, with employees helping stock the first round of titles.
   

• Good Morning, Illini Nation: Who's next? (bnd.com) — A standout Bolingbrook High School guard, Brady Pettigrew, remains a top recruiting target for the University of Illinois after multiple easy trips from Bolingbrook to Champaign. The five-star Class of 2028 prospect has earned back-to-back All-State honors and led a 24-win Bolingbrook team, drawing national attention with his scoring on the Nike EYBL circuit.
