• Will County yet to disburse approved grant for immigration services group (chicagotribune.com) — Bolingbrook residents who rely on immigration help may be affected by a Will County dispute over a $200,000 cannabis-tax grant for Illinois Workers in Action, which has a Bolingbrook location. Nearly 10 months after approval, county officials say documentation is too vague to release the money, while supporters argue the county is obligated to fund services that aid immigrants in communities like Bolingbrook, Joliet, and Romeoville.
