PEORIA BOUND: Raiders Get Rousing Sendoff to IHSA Basketball Playoffs
Bolingbrook Raiders depart Thursday morning for Friday's IHSA semi-final match-up against Stevenson.
The Pep Band marched through the halls playing the school fight song, staff and students clapped and cheerleaders and JROTC members formed paths to the bus Thursday morning as the Bolingbrook High School varsity boys basketball team left for Peoria Thursday morning where they will meet Stevenson at 6:30 p.m. in the IHSA Class 4A state semifinals on Friday.
Bolingbrook High School’s basketball squad predicted victory as their bus prepared to head out for their IHSA Class 4A state semi-final matchup against Stevenson.
The BHS Pep Band, cheerleaders, JROTC, staff and students gave them a rousing send-off.

If the Raiders win the semi-final on Friday, they will play for the state championship at 8:15 p.m. Saturday against the winner of Friday’s game between Geneva and Normal Community.
If they lose Friday, they will play for third place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
