Work At Bolingbrook Clow International Airport Continues

Phases 3 and 4 of the rehabilitation of the airport's apron were approved.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — At Tuesday's meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board approved phase 3 and 4 of rehabilitation work on the Bolingbrook Clow International Aiport apron. The apron is the area where passengers board or the planes refuel.

Phase 1 and 2 of the project were completed in 2022, Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta said during the meeting.

The project cost is $2,124,223.50, however the Village's share is 5 percent, which is $106,211.18.

K-5 was awarded the contract to complete the project, and Kimley-Horn is the engineer of record, board documents state.
