BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Aaliyah Frances O'Connor, 23, of the 100 block of Linden Avenue, East Dundee, is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Sept. 12, at Dundee and Vernon roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.

  • Ian W. Bortnick, 33, of the 1200 block of Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed, and was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12, following a traffic crash at Deerfield Parkway and Barclay Boulevard. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 2.
  • Alex Gomez, 27, of the 6300 block of W. Holbrook Street, Chicago, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 13, in the 1200 block of Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 2.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY

Employees of Kellenberger Inc. reported to police on Sept. 13 that items had been taken from a work site in the 900 block of Dundee Road. The employees said the job site had been locked and secured the previous day. Someone had cut into a storage case and took around $1,000 in copper wire. In addition, a bag of tools, valued at $2,000, were stolen from the storage cage.

THEFT

A resident in the 1200 block of Johnson Drive reported at 9:17 a.m. Sept. 14, two bicycles had been stolen between Sept. 13 and Sept. 14.
