Car Crash Fight Results In Felony Gun Charge: Buffalo Grove PD Blotter
The Mundelein resident is accused of felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of battery, and reckless driving.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Nikita Lemmer, 38, of the 1700 block of Dorchester Court, Mundelein, is accused of felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of battery, reckless driving, and was arrested at 6:42 p.m. Sept. 5, at Checker Drive and McHenry Road. Police responded to a 911 call regarding an accident involving two people who had been fighting. During the investigation, it was learned Lemmer had reportedly been involved in a traffic accident and had battered the other driver.

- Jimenez Victorino Hernandez, 23, of the 200 block of Saint Mary's Parkway, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit (75 mph in a 45 mph zone), illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:29 a.m. Sept. 6, at Lake Cook Road and Lexington Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 25.
- Omar Sanchez Lawarne, 36, of the 500 block of Piper Lane, Prospect Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, no driver's license, illegal transportation of liquor, disregarding a traffic control device, and was arrested at 7:59 p.m. Sept. 7, at McHenry Road and Ranchview Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 2.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED
Corey A. Skrip, 26, of the 10 block of Saint Armand Court, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a suspended license, having an expired registration, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Sept. 7, at Dundee and Arlington Heights roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 11.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A resident in the 800 block of Clohesey Drive reported at 10:11 p.m. Sept. 6, someone had keyed their car in the driveway and left in a dark-colored car, possibly a BMW, southbound on Clohesey. The person told police they had heard some commotion outside near the driveway, looked out, and saw someone running away from their driveway toward a vehicle parked in the Ivy Hall School parking lot, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane. The resident found a long scratch down the passenger side of their car.
BURGLARY TO VEHICLE
A resident of the 800 block of Progue Avenue reported at 4:53 p.m. Sept. 8, their car had been burglarized the previous night. The resident found their glove box open and the vehicle appeared to be disorderly and ransacked.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A Deerfield Parkway resident called police at 10:05 a.m. Sept. 8, to report their car had been stolen from the 1200 block of Johnson Drive. The car was located with damage to the front bumper, at the rear right corner, and there was a scratch along the left side doors which were not present when he last saw the car.
