Bestselling Sci-fi, Fantasy Author Brandon Sanderson to Visit Indian Trails Library

New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson will read from his newest book, Steelheart, Saturday, October 5, 2 p.m., at the Indian Trails Library District, 355 Schoenbeck, Wheeling.  

Steelheart represents the debut of a new series, one that Publisher’s Weekly called “an absolute page-turner.” In Steelheart, 10 years have passed since Calamity, an explosion in the sky that gave select people extraordinary powers. Known as Epics, these new super-humans began a war that fractured the world. An Epic named Steelheart took over what was once Chicago and, in a fit of rage, turned the entire city into steel.
