Buffalo Grove’s Winter Orchestra Concert Program Includes Innovative Selections

Buffalo Grove High School will present a Winter Orchestra Concert on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. in the school's Miller Theater. The program will feature the Concert, Symphony, and Chamber Orchestras, under the direction of Elizabeth Bennett, performing the works of Wagner, Mendelssohn, Nelson, and others. The concert features a wide variety of music, including works solely written for orchestra, a piece set to a written work by William Shakespeare, part of a score from an opera, and a well-loved portion of a movie soundtrack.
