Donate New, Gently Used Books in Buffalo Grove

Residents who want to support the United Way of Lake County's Page It Forward book drive can drop off books at two Buffalo Grove locations.

Collection bins can be found in the lobby at and on Sundays at the . New and gently used books are being collected through Sept. 11 at a number of locations across .

This year's campaign began June 21. As of Friday, the campaign had generated 16,586 books, according to the Page it Forward Facebook page. At this time last year, more than 23,000 books had been collected, the fan page said. The campaign aims to collect 200,000 books.

Financial donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase books. A $10 donation can be made by texting "PAGE" to 85944 and replying with the word "YES." Donations can also be made online.

Corporate sponsors include Patch, which pledged a book for each new "like" on the Page It Forward page on Facebook.
