BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Kennedy Misiani, 53, of the 900 block of Van Buren Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of driving on a revoked license, illegally tinted windows, and was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 18, at a Shell gas station parking lot. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.

  • Pedro Avila Delgado, 36, of the 1500 block of Crimson Lane, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 21, at W. Dundee and Old Buffalo Grove roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 21.
  • Dmitry Volkov, 47, of the 1500 block of Harbour Drive, Wheeling, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, two counts of endangering the life of a child, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 4:59 p.m. Sept. 21, at N. Milwaukee Avenue and Deerfield Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

Police responded to Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, at 5:32 p.m. Sept. 17, for a retail theft report. Earlier, a male had placed a bottle of Crown Royal, valued at $21.99, in his pants and walked out of the store without paying. An employee followed the man to the parking lot and asked him to return and pay for the stolen item. The person did not acknowledge the employee, and left the parking lot westbound on Deerfield Parkway. Police reached the man over the phone, who apologized for the theft, and agreed to return to the store. Police met with him the next day, and he paid for the time stolen. He was given a retail theft adjudication citation and a trespass warning.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A resident in the 700 block of Grove Drive called police at 6:02 a.m. Sept. 18, to report they had parked their car two nights before in the south parking lot, but didn't realize it was missing until that morning.
