Exciting Synagogue Happenings

Congregation Beth Judea is a welcoming egalitarian synagogue whose mission is to create a warm and inviting home that serves the lifelong spiritual, educational and fellowship needs of our members.  Our goal is to be the vibrant, focal point of Conservative Jewish Life in our community.

We offer a number programs, for both members and non-members of all ages, to participate in Lifelong Learning.

We have an active Israel Committee, which helps us maintain awareness and support of Israel.  We provide news and speakers, to discuss topics related to Israel on a regular basis.

Our MT Nesters is a group comprised of seniors, the majority of which are members of the synagogue.  The group meets once a month and continues to celebrate many years of coordinating activities for seniors in our community.  Activities are planned monthly and vary from an evening with the Clergy, to taking in a play, visiting a museum, or a night at Ravinia.

The Social Action committee performs charitable acts throughout the Jewish community.  From packing holiday food boxes for the needy, or sponsoring  families during Hanukah, to playing Bingo at the senior center once a month.
