• $90K Gift To Fund Accessible Buffalo Grove Park Project In Memory Of Local Man (patch.com) — Buffalo Grove residents are being asked to help shape a new accessible park project funded by a $90,000 gift honoring longtime resident Maxie Randell, who lived with Canavan disease. The Buffalo Grove Park District will use the donation, plus a hoped-for extra $10,000 from community fundraising, to add inclusive equipment or improvements that make it easier for families with disabilities to enjoy local parks together.
