Rowdy Juvenile Golfers Flip Cart; Dog Doo Disagreement: Blotter
A quartet of juvenile golfers caused a myriad of problems at golf course; resident tells dog-walker to get lost: Buffalo Grove Blotter.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS
DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

- Jasmine Nicole Herron, 19, of the 2200 block of W Nichols Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving with a suspended/revoked license, violating a traffic control sign (stop), and was arrested at 10:31 a.m. June 14 at Dundee Road and Golf View Terrace. She was given at $2,500 bond and a court date of July 17 in Mundelein.
- Paul Sandoval, 26, of the 1100 block of Concord Drive, Elgin, is accused of driving with a suspended/revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 4:54 a.m. June 17 at Dundee Road near Golfview. He was given a $3,000 bond and a court date of July 17 in Mundelein.
- Maria A. Luna-Reynoso, 31, of the 0-100 block of Sparrow Road, Carpentersville, is accused of driving with a suspended/revoked license, speeding over the statutory limit, and was arrested at 12:37 a.m. June 16 at Dundee Road and Carriageway. She was given a court date of July 17 in Waukegan.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL
- Anna Abidor, 53, of the 1000 block of Driftwood Court, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane usage, and was arrested at 11:50 p.m. June 13 at McHenry Road and Townplace. She was given a court date of July 15 in Mundelein.
- Lukasz Stalica, 26, of the 1300 block of Plymouth Lane, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 40 miles over the speed limit, having no driver's license or permit, and was arrested at 11:29 p.m. June 15 at Lake Cook Road and Milwaukee Avenue. He was given $3,000 bond and a court date of July 15 in Waukegan.
- Ellanda Danielyan, 51, of the 600 block of Lakeside Circle, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, lighted lamps violation, and was arrested at 12:13 a.m. June 13 in the 900 block of Buffalo Grove Road. She was given a $1,000 bond and a court date of July 15 in Waukegan.
- Ellen M. Holubar, 54, of the 1300 block of Brandywn Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol (blood alcohol content percentage of .08 or more), disobeying a traffic signal, and was arrested at 3:44 p.m. June 19 following a traffic crash investigation in the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue, Glenview. WARRANT

Markus Bynum, 30, of the 1500 block of Hickory Street, Waukegan, was found to have a warrant out of Northbrook for failure to appear and was arrested at 2:12 a.m. June 13 following a traffic stop of a motor vehicle Bynum was a passenger in at Lake Cook Road and Arlington Heights Road.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- An employee at Bucky's Convenience Store, 1251 McHenry Road, reported at 11:41 p.m. June 18 a 6-foot tall black man with a thin build and short black hair, wearing khaki shorts and a white tank top took two chicken Caesar salads and a turkey cheddar sandwich, valued at $17.05, without paying for them.
- An employee of Jewel-Osco, 79 N McHenry Road, called police at 10:11 p.m. June 14 to report two men stole alcohol and ran out of the store without paying. The employee and her co-workers followed the men out of the store and saw them leave in a black compact car. Prior to their entry into the store, another employee had witnessed the men remove license plates on the getaway car.
DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
A Chestnut Court W resident reported at 2:31 p.m. June 15 that they were in the process of purchasing a new home when they received an email a sender they thought was the paralegal office handling the house purchase. The resident wired $173 from their account to an account from a different bank. The resident discovered after the transfer that the email did not originate from their paralegal office and contacted police.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLES
A manager for Perricone Brothers Landscaping called police at 9:57 a.m. June 15 to report someone had removed six Redmax leaf blowers and four Redmax hedge trimmers out of an unlocked landscaping truck parked in a parking lot near Oak Creek Drive.
THEFT $500 AND UNDER
- An employee of PMI Solutions reported at 1:34 p.m. June 15 that during the overnight hours approximately 500 feet of copper wire was taken from two freight liner bucket trucks.
- A resident in the 1500 block of Madison Drive called police at 11 a.m. June 12 to report they woke up and discovered their mailbox was gone.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON
The owner of The Continental Restaurant called police at 12:55 p.m. June 15 to report he saw a suspicious man peeking in the windows and lurking around the front doors while the business was closed. The owner reviewed surveillance footage and saw the man wrote "Piss Off" on the glass windows after spitting into his gloved hand.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE AND TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
Police responded at 9:39 p.m. June 15 to a report of two juveniles on a roof at Meridan Middle School, 2195 Brandywyn Lane. Upon arrival, police found three juveniles on the roof at the eastern part of the building. The three were advised they were trespassing and all agreed not to engage "in such dangerous behavior" in the future.
ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A resident on Old Weiland Road called police at 11:15 a.m. June 16 to report witnessing a construction worker back a Bobcat into his mailbox in May. The resident stated he saw worker exit his vehicle, stand the mailbox up right, surround it with new gravel and then continued to work in the area. The resident said the mailbox has a dent, which leaves it subject to the elements. The resident has said he has contacted the construction company over the last month.
NEIGHBORHOOD TROUBLE
A person reported at 6:07 p.m. June 15 that they were walking their dog in the 1400 block of Madison Drive when the dog went to relieve themselves on the public area of the grass/street side of the sidewalk. A resident told the person to stop his dog from going to the bathroom and get the dog "out of there." The person told the resident that they were picking up the waste and it was public property. The resident said, "true green maintains the area," and that the person was not allowed to walk on the street again. Following more back and forth, the resident said, "I don't ever want to see you or your beast around here again."
UNWANTED PERSONS
An employee of Buffalo Grove Golf Course, 48 Raupp Blvd., called police at 2:56 p.m. June 12 to report four juvenile golfers drinking and being disruptive to other golfers. The employee stated that the juveniles were being loud, throwing golf clubs at other golfers, using profanity and driving their golf cart recklessly. They also had reportedly flipped a golf cart on its side. Upon police arrival, the four had run toward Old Checker Road. Three of the golfers were eventually found. All were giving trespass warnings and released to a parent.
