Police said the charges stem from an incident that occurred at around 3:31 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Run/Four Acres Park. Four children — aged 9, 9, 6, and 2 — became fatigued and lethargic after consuming candy distributed by an unknown woman.
All four children were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Medical staff later confirmed that at least one of the children tested positive for THC, the psychoactive compound found in cannabis.
