"No dad, the car just stopped..." On my way into the office I watched a cargo van run fast thru deep water and at first I thought it had cracked the radiator... a steam started under the hood. The "Steam" immediately erupted into a huge smoke plume as the battery cooked off. Short Circuit...
No need to damage your vehicle. Hot parts hit cold water - warped brake rotors, water logged brake parts, damaged exhaust systems and short circuited computers are all possibilities. When one drives quickly, loss of control or worse - floating off the road are possible. Adding speed takes many opportunities to reverse course safely - out of the drivers hands.
